Exquisite will be reading and participating on a panel at Tulsa Lit Fest!

‘Our bodies feel, move, consume, want, hurt, give, and take. It is the vessel with which we experience life and are seen by others and ourselves. What stories do our bodies hold? What are its desires and traumas? How do we capture how our bodies exist in the world on the page?

In this panel, writers will read from their work that centers the body, through which other themes can emerge, such as sex and gender, violence and power, and trauma and joy. They’ll discuss their craft, process, and philosophy for writing the body and then lead audience members in a body-writing exercise (bring a writing device!).’
